For online advertising, 2004 has been a record year. In the US, the online advertising market is now up on the good times it saw in the late 1990s and early 2000, just before the Internet bubble burst. According to the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB), the third quarter of 2004 saw a new record for online advertising revenue, for a fourth consecutive quarter, with sales of $2.43 billion, up 35.3% on the previous year.
